We added handyman service for one reason: our HVAC and remodel customers kept asking. After a furnace replacement or a finished basement, they'd say "while you're here, can you also fix this drywall patch / hang this fan / swap this outlet / adjust this door?" Saying no felt dumb. So now we say yes, with two of our techs cross-trained for general handyman work.
Common Dayton handyman jobs we handle: drywall patches and texture matching, ceiling fan installation, light fixture replacement, outlet and switch swaps (where no permit is needed), door adjustment and lockset replacement, caulking and trim repair, faucet replacement, garbage disposal install, exterior trim repair, deck board replacement, and the kind of small punch list that piles up and nobody gets to.
Rate is $75 per hour with a one-hour minimum, plus parts at cost. For active HVAC and remodel customers we'll often roll smaller handyman tasks into the existing job at no charge if they take 15 minutes or less.
